#200 Bushing Glass Housing

The #200 Bushing Neon Electrode Receptacle is a specialized version of the standard #200 Housing. It uses the same mounting hole and maintains the same front-facing appearance as the standard #200, but with one important difference: the back is completely open and does not include an electrified spring contact for the electrode. Instead, wiring is typically completed by hand inside the sign cabinet directly to the electrode.

Even compared to the already shallow #200P, the #200 Bushing reduces installation depth by approximately another inch, making it ideal for extremely shallow sign cabinet applications.

Because the back of the #200 Bushing is fully open, electrode length is limited only by the depth of the sign cabinet itself. With proper preplanning, this design can provide added flexibility for challenging installations.

For vintage signs with oversized mounting holes, #200 Bushing Neon Housing Collars are available to adapt the housing to larger openings. Please refer to our Housing Accessories page for ordering information.
