About this product

CC5010 - 5,000V 10ma Core and Coil Neon Transformer

The CC5010 is our most popular core and coil model in the lower mA. We have used this model in our neon sculpture bases and neon clocks since the 1980s because it is so reliable and compact. With an output 5,000V, 10mA, it is ideal for small neon signs, art displays, and neon clock neon transformer replacements. With its lower mA rating, this model is perfectly suited for in home use because the brightness it produces is slightly dimmer than say a "neon beer sign brightness".

One of its standout features is that the CC5010 core and coil cannot be underloaded, a common issue that occurs when too little neon tubing is connected to a core and coil neon transformer. With the CC5010, short lengths of neon tubing operate without any problems, making it a flexible and dependable choice. Need help, give us a call and we can guide you to the proper core and coil for your project. Available and in stock now!
