This 6,000V, 30mA core-and-coil transformer is compact, dependable, and well-suited for neon signage, neon clocks, art projects, and more. It delivers a bright, “advertising-level” 30mA output and is designed for indoor or protected installations. When properly loaded, it can provide reliable performance for decades.

Please note: underloading the CC6030 with too little tubing may lead to overheating and premature failure, so always ensure it is correctly loaded. If you need assistance, feel free to contact us. We’re happy to help you choose the right core-and-coil transformer for your project. Available and in stock now!

Good to know

  • Note: This model does NOT like to be "underloaded".

  • Add 1 ft. for each pair of electrodes when calculating the load.

  • NOTE: This neon transformer has two high-voltage output wires, RED and BLACK. When used with neon tubes, it doesn’t matter which wire connects to each electrode because the output is floating. However, for other applications (such as ozone generators or grounding setups), the RED wire should be treated as the hot (higher potential) lead. For safety, always assume both wires carry dangerous high voltage and handle with care.
