Using The Diamond File Tech Tip!​

These files can not be re-sharpened like traditional Bastard files can. That's OK because they last way longer.​ To get the most out of each Diamond file, follow the following steps.
​
1. When you first start to use the file, take a Sharpie and mark one of the four edges up by the handle.
​
2. Use this first edge marked until the cutting diamond grit is gone, then run the Sharpie down that whole edge, making it easy to tell that edge has been used up.
​
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 on the second, third then fourth edge.
