Q:   What types of Neon Transformers can these controllers dim?

A:   At this time, we are only able to dim "magnetic" neon transformers. Magnetic Neon Transformers are also known as Conventional or core and coils. The solid-state "electronic" type neon transformers can not be dimmed. The easiest way to know if you have a magnetic or electronic type neon transformer is the weight. A magnetic transformer is heavy, say 10 lbs, as where an electronic neon transformer is 1-2 lbs.

Q:   How many things can a 2-button Key-Fob do?

A:   With 2-buttons, we are able to program it to do one thing. For example:

Q:   How many things can a 4-button Key-Fob do?

A:   With 4-buttons, we are able to program it to do two things. For example:

Q:   We have a rule in our City that says any outdoor signs can not have any animation on it. I would like to be able to run animation on the weekends when the City Inspector will not see it. Can I use this system to toggle between Animation and All-On when I choose?

A:   Yes. We know that almost every business across the USA now has animated Open Signs running 24/7, regardless of the local codes prohibiting it. We don't advocate or condone sidestepping local codes but we have had customers order these just for this purpose. They tell us that if they are told to stop the animation, they can simply put the sign back to All-On.

Q:   I worry that we will loose the Key-Fob. Can I order more than one?

​ 

A:   Yes. It is best to order any extra Key-Fobs when the controller is first built because we REQUIRE all Key-Fobs and the controller in our hands to program them.

Q:   If I loose the Key-Fob, can I order a replacement?

​ 

A:   Yes. To order a replacement Key-Fob, you MUST return the controller (and any other Key-Fobs you might have) for programming.
